Michael Lombardi is a former NFL general manager, 3-time Super Bowl Champion, best selling author and host of the The GM Shuffle Podcast.
Michael and I discuss his latest book, "Football Done Right -Setting the Record Straight on the Coaches, Players, and History of the NFL" where Michael tackles the almost impossible task of ranking the Top 100 NFL players of all time.
Michael shares what he learned working with coaching legends Bill Walsh of the 49ers, Al Davis of the Raiders, and Bill Belichick of the Patriots, during his three decades in the NFL.
Michael's is also the author of, "Gridiron Genius: A Master Class in Winning Championships and Building Dynasties in the NFL". Which is the subject of Built Not Born Episode #62.
Michael and I discuss the modern NFL, the coaches that changed the sport "from rugby to football" and the legendary players like Jerry Rice who Michael played a role in drafting.
